POST PMR : CrepeS N 'Designer T-shirT'

The day we went to KBU was the last week before the form 3 were given early holidays. Yeay! Yeay!
Let's see what they had been up to!

From the expected 80+ students, only 65+ attended.
GROUP C IN ONE OF THE ENGINEERING LABS
MISS NA EXPLAINING I-CANT-REMEMBER-WHAT TO US
AFTER A SHORT BREAK, THE GROUP C WENT TO  LE CAFE ROOM. THERE WAS ONLY A THORN AMONG THE ROSES.
THE LECTURER WAS DEMONSTRATING TO THE STUDENTS HOW TO MAKE CREPES
HE WAS ALSO SHOWING THEM HOW TO HANDLE THE KNIFE
ONE OF THE STUDENTS' ARTWORK THAT ATTRACTS MY ATTENTION
AFTER THE DEMONSTRATION, THE STUDENTS WERE BROUGHT TO THE KITCHEN TO TRY MAKING THEIR OWN CREPES OR PANCAKES. THE BATTER WAS ALREADY PREPARED FOR THEM
 HEAT THE PAN
GREASE THE PAN WITH BUTTER
POUR 1 LADLE OF BATTER INTO THE PAN
 NATASHA AND HER GROUP

Wait ah...
SPOONING THE BATTER INTO THE PAN WAS EASY BUT FLIPPING OVER THE CREPES WASN'T. THE NARROW SPATULA DIDN'T HELP AT ALL. I DID ASKED WHY BIGGER SPATULAS WEREN'T USED. (ANSWER: THE PAN IS SMALL, SO SMALL SPATULA IS USED. ;))

OWH! IT BREAKS!

THE CHEF SHOWING THEM HOW TO TURN OVER THE PANCAKE.
TOO FRUSTRATED, THE ONLY THORN IN THE GROUP CUT THE BROKEN PANCAKE INTO PIECES AND THREW IT INTO THE DUSTBIN! HE EVENTUALLY MANAGED TO MAKE ONE UNBROKEN PIECE (SEE BELOW)
THUMBS UP TO YOU

THINGS GOT BURNT TOO. EITHER THE FLAME IS TOO HIGH OR THEY LEFT IT TOO LONG ON ONE SIDE

FINISHING ALL THE BATTER SINCE THIS WAS THE LAST GROUP. THEY WERE FORTUNATE BECAUSE THEY HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO PRODUCE MANY PIECES, UNLIKE THE FIRST GROUP.
STOPPING FOR A SECOND TO POSE FOR THE PICTURE
FILLINGS OR TOPPING WERE PROVIDED BUT STUDENTS NEEDED TO PEEL THE SKINS AND CUT THEM UP THEMSELVES.

 DAPHANEE AND HER FRIENDS
THE RECIPE? I CAN GIVE IF YOU WANT...see the end of this post
NICE POSE, GIRLS!
 WASHING UP AFTER COOKING
ANOTHER GROUP IN THE ARTS STUDIO

JIA YOUNG AND JEN JEE WHO ARE ALMOST ALWAYS SEEN TOGETHER IN SCHOOL

DOING T-SHIRT PRINTING. THEY WERE TOLD TO BRING AN EXTRA WHITE T-SHIRT
 PATUDEVA AND HIS ARTS
CAN YOU GUESS WHO HE IS?
 IDEAS, IDEAS..

PLAYING  A 'PAKU' GAME WHILE WAITING THE OTHER GROUPS TO COME BACK. ONE OF THESE GIRLS LIKES TO 'HI' AND 'BYE' ME, ALL WITHIN A SECOND OR TWO. HAHA!

CREPE RECIPE
225 g cake flour
70 g sugar
1 TBS baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
450 ml milk
2 big eggs
60g melted butter (1/8 c oil)
